For a typical floor installation, pack the floor with 9mm strips of plywood at the base, bonded securely with CT1, then lay the Dodo Duo directly over the top.
The rear floor of larger vans is often a major source of low-frequency road noise. Treating this area can make a noticeable difference to the overall comfort of your campervan or vehicle conversion.

Dodo Mat DEADN DUO combines two essential layers in one simple application.
The integrated 1.5mm butyl sound deadening layer helps damp panel vibration and reduce structural and airborne noise. Above this is a 3mm Dodo Super Liner closed-cell foam insulation layer, providing thermal insulation and additional acoustic performance.
Simply peel and stick the material directly onto the prepared metalwork.
This makes Dodo Duo particularly effective for campervan floors, van floors, boot areas and large vehicle panels where both sound deadening and insulation are required.
Dodo DEADN DUO Sound Deadening Layer
The 1.5mm butyl rubber layer is designed to reduce vibration from the vehicle panel while acting as a barrier against airborne noise.
The high rubber content provides effective vibration damping and helps reduce unwanted structural noise generated by the road, engine and vehicle movement.

Dodo Super Liner Insulation Layer
The integrated 3mm Dodo Super Liner closed-cell foam layer provides thermal and acoustic insulation in addition to the sound deadening layer.
The closed-cell foam helps create a thermal barrier within the vehicle, helping stabilise cabin temperatures throughout the year and reducing the potential for condensation.
Combining both layers into one product means there is no need to install separate sound deadening and insulation materials.
Easy Installation
Dodo DEADN DUO is supplied as a continuous 5m roll, making it particularly suitable for large floor areas and custom van conversion projects.
The soft, flexible material can be cut and shaped easily with a sharp knife and does not require heating before installation.
Simply measure, cut, peel and stick to a clean, prepared surface.
