The package combines Dodo Duo 4.5mm for full coverage of the rear floor with Dodo DEADN Hex 1.8mm for the four interior wheel arches.
This combination provides a targeted approach to campervan floor sound deadening, helping reduce the noise and vibration that can make its way into the cabin from the road and vehicle structure.
Dodo Duo – Full Rear Floor Coverage
The rear floor is one of the key areas to treat when reducing low-frequency road drone and airborne noise in a van.
The package includes 2 x Dodo Duo 4.5mm rolls, designed to provide full coverage of the rear floor on a typical short-wheelbase vehicle.
Dodo Duo combines sound deadening and acoustic insulation in one product, making it particularly well suited to large floor areas.
Its construction combines a 1.5mm butyl vibration damping layer with a 3mm closed-cell acoustic and thermal foam layer.
This means there is no need to install a separate sound deadening layer and additional acoustic liner over the floor.
Dodo Duo can also be used in the front cab floor area where additional acoustic treatment is required.

Install Over Factory Flooring
One of the advantages of this floor package is that Dodo Duo can be installed beneath many factory floor coverings or rubber mats.
This can allow you to improve the acoustic performance of the floor without necessarily removing and replacing the original factory flooring, depending on the vehicle and available clearance.
Always check the available depth and clearance before installation to ensure the additional material will not interfere with factory components, fixings or trim.
Dodo DEADN Hex – Interior Wheel Arches
The package also includes 20 sheets of Dodo DEADN Hex 1.8mm, providing a targeted treatment for all four interior wheel arches.
Wheel arches are another important source of road noise, tyre noise and vibration, particularly in the rear of a van.
Applying DEADN Hex to the interior face of the wheel arches helps damp the metalwork and reduce unwanted vibration and structural noise.
DEADN Hex is a self-adhesive, foil-backed sound deadening material. Simply cut the sheets to suit the shape of the wheel arch, peel away the backing and apply to clean, prepared metalwork.
